The Trailblazers are creators and stewards of the 23-mile Eastern Shore Trail, a National Recreation Trail connecting Spanish Fort to Weeks Bay in Fairhope. Other Trailblazer initiatives to encourage active mobility include coordinating the Walking School Bus, sponsoring Bike to School days, and staffing Bike Valet Parking at special events.
Baldwin County Trailblazers, founded in 1995, works to enhance the quality of life in Baldwin County by creating a pedestrian and bike friendly community. To this end, we host outreach programs to raise awareness and funds to further the use, maintenance and expansion of walking and biking trails in the county. It is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.
